Univeristy of Illinois and Purdue Overflow 2010 Easter Retreat

3For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures ( 1 Cor 15:3-4)

Purdue UBF and U of I UBF had a joined Easter Conference entitled "Overflow" from April 9th to April 11th at Chicago UBF Lenningrad House.

We prayed for the retreat that we could
  • to receive God's grace of the good news
  • and his grace would overflow into all areas of our lives
  • so that we can pass on to others as the first importance.
We thank God for giving his grace and mercy to pray and share the good news of our LORD Jesus who died and rose from the dead.

We thank God for the Chicago UBF for providing a place for us and prayed for us. Among them are:
  • Dr. Paul Koh
  • Lydia Shin
  • Rhoel Lomahan and
  • Young Lee.

We value their partnership in Jesus.

We thank our students who prayed and volunteered to make this conference a success.

Most of all we thank our LORD Jesus Christ who died for our sins and rose from the dead. We than God for the good news of God.

May God help us to live lives worthy of his calling into his kingdom and his glory.

Thank you for your prayers for us. Continue to pray so that the good news of God can compel us to live as witnesses of Jesus' death and resurrection and bring the good news of Jesus to the ends of the earth starting from Champaign, IL, Lafayette, IN.
