One thing is needed

In Luke 10 Jesus spoke to his beloved Martha. We are people of one thing. We need one thing. Not two things.

What is one thing? When we prepare exams, we think we need time so that we can do well. When we are out of school, we think we need good jobs.

How do we think that we are always changing what we need? Jesus loved Martha deeply and told her what she needs is to sit at his feet and listen to what he has to say.

This is one week before the finals. Our students are studying very hard. (See the video below. It is taken at the Student Union).

The Bible says we need God's mercy shown through his Son. We need Immanuel -God with us. Is this what you want? or You want something else?
