Dr. John in Korea

John Jeong (Post-doctor, Chemical Engineering, 2008-2012) became an assistant professor from this fall semester 2013, at Soongsil University located in Seoul, South Korea. He holds on one word, ‘Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.’ (Psalm 119:105), when he got started to teach and research at there. He prays to be a source of blessing at there, especially as a good bible teacher. Gloria Mary Jeong serves students in EwhaWomans University by teaching the words of God. John Jeong’s family including little Gloria and Grace misses all friends and co-workers in U of I and is thankful always for prayer supports and love in Christ.

* Soongsil University’s root traces back to 1897, when Dr. W.M. Baird, an American missionary started teaching from his residence in Pyong Yang and was then given the title of the first university in Korea. Therefore, since its founding, Soongsil University has been passing down its ancestor’s spirit and faith constantly following its mission in Christ.
