Mary Koh and Deb Lim who are juniors at U of I will be going to YUST this Summer.Let's pray for them and support them with prayers and fund. Our Deeper Roots in Christ, our U of I undergrad student gospel club is committed to support them.
Mary and Deb writes why they are going like this:
What inspired both of us to spend our summer at YUST was how God used President Kim's testimony and presentation this past semester in Urbana.
Both of us were very much moved by President Kim's passionate love for the Lord, and his fervor to magnify God to Chinese and North Korean people. We were both challenged when he rebuked the young people of this generation to 'do something now for God' and not later. We were also able to realize that there is a need in Yanji, and as we were both contemplating on what to do this summer, we thank God for providing this opportunity to serve.
We would like to mainly ask for your prayer support.
Deborah's prayer topic is that she would be able to depend on God for strength in showing love to them. And also keeping God's glory at the center of her heart.
Mary's prayer topic is that she would learn what it means to serve other people before herself and be a blessing.
More than anything, please keep us in your prayers! Thank you
